Quick answers
How much does commercial knife sharpening cost?
Knife Exchange runs $4.00–$5.25 per knife and scheduled sharpening $6–$8 per knife, depending on how many knives you request and how often we visit.
What's the difference between knife exchange and sharpening?
With exchange, we supply the knives and swap dull for sharp on schedule. With sharpening, we sharpen the knives you already own onsite in our mobile sharpening center.
How often should restaurant knives be sharpened?
Most busy kitchens need it every 1 to 4 weeks. We'll recommend a schedule at your free assessment.
Do I have to sign a contract?
No long-term contract. Cancel with 30 days' notice. Exchange accounts sign a simple agreement covering our knives while they're in your kitchen.
What if an exchange knife is lost or damaged?
Normal wear is on us. Lost or damaged knives are billed at $9 each.
Do you sharpen Japanese and serrated knives?
Yes. Every knife is sharpened to suit its steel and optimal angle.
